UofE crest

University of Edinburgh
Thursday, 13th April, 2000

Guest Speaker: John Campbell, New College, Oxford

The third SPPA conference held in memory of Mark Powell will be a one day, unthemed event, which the organisers hope will bring together postgrads from all Scottish Philosophy Departments, and be of interest to postgrads working in diverse areas of philosophy.

Submissions should be around three thousand words in length, take approximately 20 minutes to present, and be accessible to an audience of non-specialists. Submissions regarding any areas of research interest by Scottish Philosophy Postgraduates are welcomed.

The conference will be fully wheelchair friendly. Admission fees will be extremely low. The conference will incorporate a meeting of the SPPA committee, and there will be elections for vacant posts.

Deadline for submissions: Friday March 17th 2000.
